My mother was Catholic her entire life, went to mass every single Sunday so when she passed there wasn't really a debate about whether we wanted something with religious meaning. This urn is carved beautifully, the angel figure has real detail to it, not the flat stamped look some cheaper wooden urns have where it's more of a sticker than a carving. The mentioned rosewood is a rich color, darker than I expected from the photos but I actually prefer it. It took about two weeks to arrive which was longer than some of the aluminum ones I looked at, but it's handmade so that tracks, and they did email to let me know it was on its way with a estimated date, which meant I wasn't left wondering. Would recommend to anyone wanting something with real weight to it.

Beautiful piece, genuinely the detail on the wings is better than I expected for the price. Taking a star off only because it took three weeks to arrive, and I was a bit anxious waiting on it. Once it did arrive though I had no complaints at all.

Gold detailing on this is nicer than most brass urns I looked at elsewhere, it doesn't look cheap or plated thin. Didn't have any issues with the order at all, showed up when they said it would, and the box was in good shape.
Solid wood, some real weight to it, doesnt have that hollow feel some of the resin ones have. My father was a deacon at our church for almost 30 years so the cross felt right rather than something that wasn't really about him. The carving is deeper and cleaner than I expected from photos.
